Chinese Cabbage Coral [Mycedium elephantotus]
Description
This coral forms broad, plate-like lobes that resemble layered leaves, giving it a distinctive “cabbage” look. Divers may see it partially shaded under overhangs, where the folds and ridges create depth and a soft, sculpted appearance.
