Cauliflower Coral [Pocillopora meandrina]
Description
Divers often spot this coral as knobby, cauliflower-like clumps with rounded branches that form tight, maze-like shapes. In clear water, its surface can look textured and bumpy, and it may host tiny reef dwellers tucked among the branches. Depending on light and location, colors can range from pale cream to warm browns and muted greens.
