Canary Triton [Charonia atlantica]
Description
The Canary Triton is a species of marine snail found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, particularly around the Canary Islands. It has a large, heavy shell that can reach up to 25 cm in length. It resides in rocky or sandy habitats, where it feeds on a variety of echinoderms.
