Bush Coral [Seriatopora hystrix]
Description
This species forms upright, needle-like branches that give it a spiky, bristled look. Under the right light, the tips can appear especially vivid, and the coral’s surface texture stands out against the surrounding reef. Divers may also notice small organisms using the branches for shelter and feeding.
