Bluntnose snake moray [Uropterygius micropterus]
Description
The bluntnose snake moray is a species of eel in the family Muraenidae. It is found in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, from the Red Sea and East Africa to Samoa, north to the Ryukyu Islands, south to New Caledonia and Micronesia. It is a reef-associated species that is non-migratory. It has a maximum length of 40.0 cm. It has a dark brown body color.
