Description
The blackmouth sea cucumber (Danaphryne nigrifilis) is a species of deep-sea anglerfish in the family Oneirodidae. It is found in the Atlantic Ocean. This species is small, less than 100 mm in length, and has a wide mouth, which gives it its name. It has a globular body with a large, terminal mouth and a small, terminal anus. The mouth is surrounded by a series of long, slender, unbranched tentacles. The skin is thin, delicate, and black in color.
