Black-striped Split-tooth Dorid [Hypselodoris nigrostriata]
Description
Look for a compact, colorful nudibranch marked with distinct black stripes that can appear almost like a zebra pattern. It’s commonly found on or near sponge-rich areas, where it feeds and blends in with the reef’s textures. With a patient approach, divers can often observe it resting or inching along the bottom.
