Beringius turtoni [Beringius turtoni]
Description
Beringius turtoni is another species that’s generally more likely to be observed by specialized surveys than by typical recreational dives. If it occurs in your dive area, divers may spot it near the seafloor, where it remains relatively still or moves slowly with the current. The best “underwater moment” is often simply noticing it in context—part of a deeper, less disturbed ecosystem.
