Bay Nettle [Chrysaora chesapeakei]
Description
Bay Nettle is a classic coastal jelly with a broad, umbrella-like bell and long, trailing tentacles. Underwater, divers can spot them gliding just above the seafloor or hovering in the water column, their bell contracting rhythmically as they hunt and drift.
