Batfish [Platax orbicularis]
Description
Batfish are sleek, disk-shaped fish that often cruise in loose groups just above the reef. Divers commonly spot them gliding with slow, deliberate movements, their bold body shape and long fins making them look almost “paper-cut” against the coral.
