Bartail Flathead [Platycephalus speculator]
Description
The Bartail Flathead is a large marine species that can grow up to 105 cm in length. It has a flat, elongated body with a wide, flat head. The body is brown with small dark spots and a whitish belly. This species is found in sandy or muddy bottoms of coastal waters and estuaries in the Indo-West Pacific region. It is a bottom-dwelling species and feeds on small fish and crustaceans.
