Description
The Barbeled lightfish or Ichthyococcus barbatus is a species found in the Atlantic Ocean. They live in deep, cold waters and are known for their barbels, which are thin, whisker-like sensory organs located near the mouth. They have bioluminescent organs and reach a maximum length of 10 cm. Their diet primarily consists of zooplankton.
