Aurora Stalked Jellyfish [Haliclystus auricula]
Description
This species is a stalked jellyfish found in the North Pacific Ocean, particularly in waters off the coast of Japan and Russia. It is known for the beautiful, aurora-like colors that shimmer across its body. It has a bell-shaped body with eight arms, each tipped with clusters of tentacles. These tentacles end in sticky pads used for catching prey. Its body is typically translucent, allowing the colors to shine through.
