Atlantic Sea Swallow [Glaucus atlanticus]
Description
This striking sea slug is a master of the open-water look, drifting at the surface or just below as if it’s floating in the water column. Divers may spot it gliding along the surface with its flattened, streamlined body and vivid coloration, often during calm conditions.
