Atlantic Mudskipper [Periophthalmus barbarus]
Description
The Atlantic Mudskipper is a West African species of mudskipper. It has a broad, flat head with large eyes, a greyish to greenish-brown body with darker patches, and fan-shaped pectoral fins. It inhabits mudflats and estuaries and can 'skip' over the mud using its pectoral fins.
