Description
This species is a medium-sized sea snail, measuring up to 70 mm. Its shell is distinguishable by its inflated, twisted appearance with a reticulated pattern. It is a predatory marine gastropod native to the tropical western Atlantic Ocean, specifically from North Carolina to Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.
