Description
Arenochalina sobrina is a marine sponge species belonging to the family Chalinidae. They are mostly found in the Indo-Pacific region. They are characterized by their tubular shape and the presence of mesh-like surface, the primary fibres of which are inosculated to form polygonal meshes. The sponge is known to reproduce both sexually and asexually.
