Arctic Tellin [Tellina tenera]
Description
The Arctic Tellin is a marine bivalve mollusk species that is commonly found in cold, northern waters. It has a thin, delicate shell which is typically white or cream in color with a pink or yellow tinge. The shell is slightly compressed and features fine, radial striae. The Arctic Tellin burrows in sandy or muddy seabeds, where it filter-feeds on plankton.
