Description
This species is a stalked jellyfish that inhabits the Southern Ocean, particularly in Antarctic waters. It is known for its ability to withstand extremely cold temperatures. It has a bell-shaped body with eight arms, each tipped with clusters of tentacles. Each tentacle ends in a sticky pad used for catching prey. Its body is typically translucent and can exhibit a range of colors.
