Antarctic Ribbon Worm [Eunephtys antarcticus]

Description
The Antarctic Ribbon Worm, or Eunephtys antarcticus, is a species of marine worm that inhabits the frigid waters of the Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica. This species is similar in appearance to its Arctic cousin, with a long, flat, ribbon-like body, but it is typically a lighter brown color. The Antarctic Ribbon Worm is also a benthic creature, residing on the seafloor, and its diet consists primarily of small invertebrates. It is well-adapted to survive in the harsh, cold environment of the Antarctic waters.
