Antarctic Muddy worm [Owenia antarctica]

Description
A species of annelid worm in the genus Owenia. As the name suggests, it is found in the cold waters of Antarctica. It is a tube-dwelling species, creating burrows in sandy or muddy sea beds. This species has a segmented, elongated body with a retractable 'introvert' head. It feeds on micro-organisms found in the sediment.
