Angular Whelk [Buccinum angulosum]
Description
Angular whelks are sturdy, slow-moving snails with a thick, sculpted shell that often looks slightly “knuckled” or angular. Divers may spot them tucked into rocky crevices or resting on the seafloor, where they graze and scavenge along the substrate.
