Anemone Coral [Goniopora albiconus]
Description
This coral is famous for its long, slender polyps that can extend like a soft, feathery crown—giving it an anemone-like look. Divers may see it swaying gently with the current, and in many conditions the polyps create a striking, high-contrast “bloom” over the coral’s base.
