Actinothoe milmani [Actinothoe milmani]
Description
Divers may encounter Actinothoe milmani as a small, anchored cnidarian that forms a neat, tentacled display on rock or other firm surfaces. Its tentacles can appear to gently fan or sway with the water movement, giving it a subtle but constant motion. Because it can be relatively understated in size, it rewards slow, close-up searching.
