Acropora grandis [Acropora grandis]

Description

Acropora grandis is a striking reef-building coral with larger, robust branches that can form impressive, spreading structures. Divers frequently observe fish using the branches as cover, while cleaner species and small invertebrates take advantage of the coral’s complex surfaces. In bright light, the colony’s texture and shadows create a dramatic look across the reef.
