Acropora fastigata [Acropora fastigata]
Description
Divers often spot this branching coral as delicate, upright “finger-like” structures that form airy thickets. In clear water, its pale tips and fine branches catch the light, creating a lively, lace-like look on the reef. Small reef fish and invertebrates commonly shelter among the branches.
