Acropora anthocercis [Acropora anthocercis]
Description
Acropora anthocercis is a branching coral that can form striking, upright or spreading shapes depending on the site and water flow. Divers often find it visually captivating because the branches create a natural “grid” of shadows and sunlit edges. Look closely and you may spot tiny crustaceans and small fish using the coral’s tight spaces as refuge.
