Acropora africana [Acropora africana]
Description
This Acropora forms branching colonies that can create a textured, three-dimensional look across the reef. Divers may notice the coral’s fine branches and how they catch light as you swim past, often with tiny reef dwellers tucked into the nooks. Because it’s a fast-growing coral, it can look especially vibrant where conditions are favorable.
