European Shag [Phalacrocorax aristotelis]
Description
European Shag is a medium-to-large bird that has dark plumage, a crest and yellow gape. They're often seen standing with their wings outstretched to dry after diving. They are strictly coastal, breeding on rocky ledges, cliffs and islands.
