Lesser Valley Coral [Platygyra lamellina]
Description
A species of hard coral found in the Red Sea, and across the Indian Ocean to the western Pacific Ocean. It grows in massive, dome-shaped colonies, with narrow valleys and walls. It is commonly found in lagoons and on the slopes of reefs.
