Micro Hydnophora [Hydnophora microconos]
Description
Hydnophora microconos, or Micro Hydnophora, is a species of large polyp stony coral in the family Merulinidae. It is native to the central Indo-Pacific region where it is found at depths between 1 and 25 m. It is a significant reef builder and is notable for its irregular, encrusting growth form and its vibrant green or brown coloration.
