Bareskin dogfish [Centroscyllium ritteri]
Description
The bareskin dogfish is another species found in the Pacific Ocean, particularly off the coasts of Colombia and Ecuador. It is a small species, reaching a length of up to 50 cm. Its body is dark in color, and it has large, green eyes. It is a deep-water species, found between 660 and 1,640 m in depth. Due to its deep-sea habitat, little is known about its behavior and diet.
