Leptoseris scabra, commonly known as Wedge Coral, is a species of marine scleractinian coral found in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly around Indonesia and the Philippines. It is a unique species distinguished by its encrusting formation and irregular skeletal structures. It tends to inhabit deeper waters, typically found at depths of 20-70 meters, where light conditions are low. It exhibits a nocturnal behavior, with its polyps often extended at night to feed on plankton.
