Regal Tang [Paracanthurus hepatus]
Description
Regal Tang is a species of Indo-Pacific surgeonfish. They are bright blue, with a yellow tail, and black 'palette' design. The lower body is yellow in the west-central Indian Ocean. They are very active swimmers and require large aquariums of at least 6 feet in length. They are usually peaceful but can be aggressive towards same species and similar fish.
