Sergeant major [Abudefduf saxatilis]
Description
The sergeant major or pintano is a species of damselfish. It grows to a maximum of about 23 cm in length. Typically found in shallow waters, these species are often associated with reefs. They are known for their distinctive black stripes on a yellowish background.
