Rosy Sponge [Myxilla rosacea]
 
            Description
The Myxilla rosacea, commonly known as the Rosy Sponge, is a small, encrusting sponge species. It has a thin, smooth and soft surface with a pale pinkish color. The species is found in the North Atlantic Ocean, often inhabiting rocky substrates in subtidal zones. It prefers cooler waters and typically grows in branched, lobed or sheet-like forms.
