White Sea Squirt [Aplidium albicans]
Description
Aplidium albicans, also known as the White Sea Squirt, is a species of tunicate in the family Polyclinidae. This species forms encrusting colonies that are often white or cream. It is found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, from the British Isles to the Mediterranean Sea, typically on hard substrates from the lower shore to a depth of about 50 meters.
