Description

The Southern bushy-branch worm is a marine species found in the Southern Ocean. Similar to its northern counterpart, it also exhibits sedentary behavior and resides in tubes on the seafloor. It has a yellowish body color with a long, cylindrical body shape, and is known for its robust size, with its body length reaching up to 100mm long. The species is distinguished by its many branchiae, which are larger and denser than those of P. edwardsii.
