Common Fabric Worm [Fabricia sabella]

Description
Fabricia sabella, or the common fabric worm, is another species of marine polychaete worm in the family Sabellidae. It is native to the Mediterranean Sea but has been introduced to the Atlantic coast of North America. Fabricia sabella is a small worm that lives in a tube-like structure, which it constructs from mucus and sand. It uses its tentacles for filter feeding and is characterized by a pair of long, spirally coiled, feathery gills.
