Description
Dinophilus gyrociliatus, commonly known as the Marine Ringworm, is a marine polychaete worm that is found in the Northern Atlantic Ocean. It is about 1.5 millimeters long and has a unique body structure with a head region, a trunk with 12 segments, and a tail region. It has a rapid life cycle and is capable of both sexual and asexual reproduction. The species is distinguished by the presence of two large ciliary rings around its mouth.
