Deepwater Bristle Worm [Caulleryaspis abyssicola]

Description
Also known as Deepwater Bristle Worm, this species inhabits the abyssal zone of the ocean. It has a long, slender body covered in fine bristles and is adapted to survive under high pressure and low temperature conditions. It feeds on organic matter that falls from the ocean surface. Reproduction is primarily through fragmentation, where a part of the worm's body breaks off and grows into a new individual.
