Giant Syllidian [Syllidia gigantea]

Description
Syllidia gigantea, the Giant Syllidian, is a larger species in the Syllidia genus. Despite its name, it is still quite small compared to many marine creatures, reaching a maximum length of about 2 inches. It has a segmented body with a pair of parapodia on each segment, each with a set of chaetae. This species is a detritivore, known to inhabit muddy or sandy substrates in subtidal zones.
