Marine Bloodworm [Glycera dibranchiata]

Description
The Marine Bloodworm is a species of marine polychaete worms in the Glycera genus. It can reach a length of up to 35 cm and is characterized by its bright red color due to its blood's high hemoglobin content. It inhabits the soft sediments of the intertidal and subtidal regions along the Atlantic coast of North America. It is known for its four jaws that can extend out of its mouth and inject venom into its prey.
