Description
Carteriospongia papillata, or the papillate sponge, is a species of marine sponge that is commonly found in the waters of the Western Central Pacific. This sponge is often pink or orange in color and has a rough texture. It is typically found on coral reefs in shallow to intermediate depths. The species is distinguishable by its papillate surface, hence its name.
