Description
Scaphander ocellatus, or the South African Bubble Snail, is a species of sea snail found in the waters off the coast of South Africa. The snail's shell is thick, oval, and usually white in color with a series of brown spots. The shell can reach lengths of up to 60 mm. This species typically inhabits sandy sea bottoms and feeds on small invertebrates.
