Giant Spider Conch [Lambis truncata]

Giant Spider Conch
Description

As its name suggests, this is a showy, large conch with bold, spider-like shell extensions that can be seen even from a short distance. Divers may find it resting on or near sandy patches and coral rubble, often partially camouflaged by the substrate. If you spot one, take your time—its size and sculpted shell make it a favorite subject for underwater photography.
