Hypselodoris lacteola [Hypselodoris lacteola]
Description
Hypselodoris lacteola is a delicate-looking dorid nudibranch that divers may spot during reef dives, especially in areas with abundant sponge cover. Its pale, milky tones and clean body outline can make it look almost ghostlike against darker backgrounds. If you slow down and scan the substrate, you may see it inching along as it searches for food.
