Epicurius Rainbow Dorid [Goniobranchus epicurius]
Description
This species is known for its colorful, reef-friendly look—often featuring bold bands or spots that make it easy to pick out once you know what to scan for. Divers may see it resting on the seafloor or on sponge-covered rock, where it feeds and stays close to its preferred habitat. Because it’s relatively slow-moving, it’s well-suited for close observation from a respectful distance.
