Chromodoris mariana [Chromodoris mariana]
Description
Divers may spot this colorful sea slug cruising along rocky bottoms or among sponges and algae. Its bold, contrasting colors and smooth, slightly flattened body make it stand out in the reef shadows. Like many chromodorid nudibranchs, it’s often slow-moving and most noticeable when you pause and scan the substrate.
