Chromodoris elisabethina [Chromodoris elisabethina]
Description
Chromodoris elisabethina is a showy nudibranch that stands out against the reef with its bright, contrasting colors. Underwater, divers often see it perched on or moving across hard surfaces, where it can be surprisingly easy to miss until it catches the light. Like many chromodorid nudibranchs, its coloration helps deter would-be predators.
